Supplementary Directions For Use – Always Read product label before use.
Cold & Flu symptoms – For Cold and flu symptoms we recommend that you apply 3-4 sprays to the upper chest and neck area and immediately cover with a shirt or blouse as required. DO NOT spray on or near the face area. Apply 1-2 sprays to handkerchief or tissue no less than 20 seconds before use. If spraying the product into airspace, ensure that there are no naked flames or ignition sources in the room. Eucanol Antiseptic Spray can be used as a surface disinfectant without staining clothing or soft furnishings
Cold Sores – Apply 1-2 sprays to a cotton wool bud and dab gently onto the affected area until the product has evaporated. Repeat this process up to 4 times per day. For best results, apply product once the very first symptoms of a cold sore appear.
Skin irritation – For itchy skin, spray 2-3 sprays immediately onto the affected area, allow to air dry, then apply a further 1-2 sprays, repeat as necessary up to 4 times daily. If symptoms persist or the product does not reduce symptoms, seek professional medical advice.
Mosquito and Midge bites – Apply 1 spray directly onto the bite site, allow to air dry. If itching or pain is still present, apply a second spray. For midge bites, we recommend that sufficient product is applied to wet skin on and around the bite area to help reduce the temptation to scratch the bite site. Continue to apply the product to the site daily once initial itching has subsided to assist in preventing secondary skin infections.
Mild burns – Seek medical advice for serious burns. For mild burns that have received initial first aid treatment, apply sufficient product to thoroughly wet the affected area and the surrounding skin. The ethanol content of Eucanol Antiseptic may assist in providing a cooling effect on skin due to rapid evaporation. Continue to apply as desired, but if symptoms persist or do not subside, consult a medical professional again.
Sunburn – Apply sufficient product to the affected area to wet skin, allow to air dry then re-apply after 5 minutes, repeat up to 4 times daily. For serious sunburn including where skin has become blistered, we recommend that you seek medical advice.
Cuts & Abrasions – Eucanol Antiseptic spray is a powerful antibacterial able to treat minor cuts and abrasions by direct application to the wound site. For young children, the elderly and those with sensitive skin, water should be applied to the wound site immediately before application. Where the wound site is dirty, try to rinse clean first where possible. Apply sufficient product to wet the skin on and around the wound. Allow to airdry and repeat the process up to 3 times per day. For cuts where bleeding is present, please seek medical advice as soon as practical.
This product can be applied to dressings before bandaging if direct contact is not desired. Do not apply direct to band-aids as the product may affect the ability for the product to adhere to skin.
